When the iPad was first released, I saw it as a great tool for creating music in a portable, easy-to-use way. We’ve come a long way since April of 2010. Egoist is a groove instrument from Sugar Bytes that has now been released for the iPad. Egoist is a well-thought-out tool set to sketch a loop or a complete song. It combines a slice arranger with a beat and bass section. It enables experienced musician to create original pieces on a professional level. the two features that appeal to me are the exporting/bouncing options and the ability to access your iTunes library.
