SXSW Friday – Andrew Belle, London Grammar, and Washed Out

It’s Friday and time for our daily South by Southwest recommended shows. Tonight we start off with Chicago-based singer-songwriter Andrew Belle at Rowdys Saloon located at 305 W 5th Street. He released his debut album, The Ladder, in 2010 and released its follow up, Black Bear, in 2013. Andrew Belle takes the stage at 9:00 PM.

UK-based trio London Grammar – Hannah Reid, Dot Major and Dan Rothman – is next up. They’ll be at Stubbs on Red River Street. London Grammar’s set starts at 10:00 PM.

Our third recommendation for tonight is Washed Out. They will be playing at 12:30 AM at Bar 96 located at 96 Rainey Street. The music recorded by Ernest Greene as Washed Out has been nothing if not dreamy, and on his second full-length, Paracosm, he takes the dreamlike, otherworldly atmospheres of his music a huge leap further.

Check it out, have fun, and be safe!
