Arturia is bringing back its AudioFuse Studio desktop interface in a Rev2 edition built around revised preamps and an upgraded Bluetooth module. The rest of the unit’s connectivity carries over largely unchanged, housed in the same metal desktop chassis.
Same Footprint, New Preamps
The interface totals 18 inputs and 20 outputs, built around eight analog inputs. Four are combination mic, line, and instrument inputs, each running through a DiscretePRO preamp with dedicated hands on controls. The remaining four are line inputs, with inputs five and six switchable to a phono preamp for turntables. Four analog inserts sit on channels one through four, and two aux outputs handle guitar reamping at instrument level, alongside four additional line outputs.
The original AudioFuse Studio built its name on exactly this kind of wide analog and digital I/O packed into one desktop box, and Rev2 keeps that same footprint while working on what sits underneath it. The updated preamps are built for headroom and quiet signal capture: Arturia lists a low Equivalent Input Noise rating, a 78dB gain range, and up to 18dBu of headroom, enough range to record everything from heavy drums to the quietest sources without losing detail. Conversion runs through 24-bit AD/DA converters at up to 192kHz.
Wireless Monitoring, Wired Depth
Digital connectivity spans eight channels of ADAT, S/PDIF or Word Clock on Cinch RCA, MIDI, and USB-C, with a built in multi-port USB hub. The upgraded Bluetooth receiver adds support for aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, and AAC, letting producers reference mixes wirelessly from a phone or laptop without patching in a cable.
Monitoring covers two pairs of balanced speaker outputs and two independent stereo headphone outputs, each on 6.35mm and 3.5mm jacks with its own source selection and metering, alongside an internal direct monitoring mixer for low latency tracking.
A Bundle That Keeps Growing
Every AudioFuse Studio Rev2 ships with the AudioFuse Creative Suite, drawing on Arturia’s FX Collection. The bundle covers Analog Lab Intro, three preamp emulations, two compressors, a tape delay, a filter, a plate reverb, a chorus, and a phaser, enough to mix, master, and finish a record without adding outside plugins.
Existing owners aren’t left behind. Arturia’s free AudioFuse Control Center 2.5.0 update adds preset import and export across its audio interface line, and both the original AudioFuse Studio and the Rev2 model gain new clock management, expanded output routing, and improved monitoring with digital speaker support.
For a hybrid setup built around a mix of hardware and software, that combination of wide analog and digital I/O with an ecosystem that keeps extending support to older units is the more durable story here.
